I was hoping to show some pango rendered text tomorrow that shows
some
really advanced shaping. I've got a "simple" example, that shows
things
like composing with diacritical characters. But I was hoping somebody
could suggest some text that showed something advanced/cool/real.
Take a look around http://www.pango.org/ScriptGallery
The problem is: to truly appreciate the advanced/cool stuff you need
to know
about complex scripts, vertical writing, Nastaliq, etc. Otherwise
it all
looks like "glyphs on the screen" :).
Well.. what I was hoping for was something where a series of code
points, morphed in shape as they accumulated. I know about things like
diacriticals and Korean Jamo composition, but I was looking for
something where it changed more on some other property....
