This means pango is unable to load the opentype tables specified above
from the font. I have seen this and it could be a bug in the tables in
the font or in pango, more likely the font I would think.

Probably this is a consequence of the first problem. The above tables
are needed for shaping. At least this message tells you the name of the
font that is giving the problem.
When I was getting these kinds of messages I tested by running gedit
from a terminal window (so I could see the error messages) and setting
the font to the one that was giving the problem.
