I dealt with the g_app_info_get_*_for_type() (can you confirm, independently, that it works for you? I've only done minimal testing; If it works as expected, i'll just push it), because the 'all' function did make sense, and the two proxies also made some kind of sense as stopgaps until gcontenttype support is improved. The rest of the missing functions are complete dummies that do nothing, and i have no implementation for them in mind.
