For a third option, some of you might be interested in
gnome-development-monitor
(http://github.com/nzjrs/gnome-development-monitor).

It parses the commits-mailing-list HTML archive (ick..) and presents a
semi-interactive view of commits sorted by project,time,branch and
some per-project bugzilla queries.
