Hi there, I'm working on a little project that started as a GTK+ 1.2 app, and used efence to catch some bugs in the code. Now I'm working on porting it to GTK+ 2.0. The program compiles cleanly with the new version of the lib, but when I run it with efence compiled in I get this error: flynn kajsa# ./thefish Electric Fence 2.2.0 Copyright (C) 1987-1999 Bruce Perens <bruce perens com> ElectricFence Exiting: mmap() failed: Cannot allocate memory This same code linked against gtk12 doesn't have any problem. So, the question is, what did change in the memory usage ? Or is it a efence problem? All this in running on FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE, I'll try on a NetBSD box too and see if it also happens there. Thanks in advance. Cheers, -- Miguel Mendez - flynn energyhq homeip net GPG Public Key :: http://energyhq.homeip.net/files/pubkey.txt EnergyHQ :: http://www.energyhq.tk FreeBSD - The power to serve!
