struct GtkWindow

What is the form a a struct GtkWindow. it seems blank in the documentation.
Also I notice there are occasions, particularly when dealing with pixmaps,
that a GdkWindow is needed. I 'know' from Eric Harlow's book that this is
gtkwindow->window but this is not documented as far as I can see.
