I was referring specifically to the R package. Much the same-- credits and copyrights etc.-- for gnumeric would likewise be found in the files which came in the gnumeric package.

I don't understand what sort of citation you're seeking or what that
citation is meant to verify or support.  Perhaps you could explain this
