Re: gnumeric on os x

That appears to have had no effect.  Here's how I configured things:

goffice:   ./configure --with-config-backend=keyfile

gnumeric:  ./configure

my cgi script generates the following error:

 GLib-CRITICAL **: g_dir_open: assertion `path != NULL' failed, referer:
[Wed Apr 06 15:14:36 2011] [error] [client] GConf Error: Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. See for information. (Details -  1: Failed to get connection to session: Failed to connect to socket /tmp/launch-jgzlTc/unix_domain_listener: Permission denied), referer:

It is not really Gnumeric that is looking for that socket but goffice
(aka libgoffice). If you use keyfiles rather than gconf it should not
look for such a socket.
