gdk-pixbuf XPM Error

Not sure if this or Gnome list is best place for this post. Running
gnumeric on Mac OS X under X11. Had everything running great before
updating OS from 10.2.8 to 10.3. Now when I start gnumeric get error:
gdk-pixbuf XPM lacks XPM data capability. Tried updating gnumeric and
gdk-pixbuf with fink stating all files up to date, Thoughts?
