In the gnumeric 1.1.15 annoucement, there's some words about graphs in
gnumeric.
What are you going to use ? guppi, gtkextra, or something else?
Things are still up in the air. As it stands I'm working on a
management structure that is unique to gnumeric, then using engines
out of gtkextras with bits from guppi.
As a matter of interest, is guppi still being worked on?
also, could that gnumeric-specific solution for graphs be made generic
so that other apps can use it? I wonder because I am planning to add
graphic widgets to libgnomedb (see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69206), and was planning to
use guppi, as Gnumeric does (or did).
So, Jody, could we come to something shared for all apps, or are the
bits you're working on too gnumeric-specific?
cheers
