It seems more intuitive than Gnumeric's (Gnumeric doesn't do 2.) Can we
make Gnumeric do the same?
Hmm, possibly. I may have an approach that will work for this in
gnome-1.4, if it doesn't we'll need to wait until gnome2. In gnome2
the ViewFrame is gone and we are back to using a ControlFrame which
does not do any of the keyboard, mouse handling that its predecessor
did. This simplifies things.
