Good thing to add to the FAQ Skype might disble your mic :)

Can be a bandwith problem perhaps, it works best for me with G711 codec 
and small video, note you need adsl for this to work.

Hmm check the FAQ you might still have a NAT/firewall configuration problem.

Please talk about Skype at some other place, I hope you understand what 
Skype is = it is a lock in program, no code avalible, and Skype follows 
no Voip standards at all!

Or put it in an other way, an owner of an Motorla phone can't talk to an 
Nokia phone is that strange??
