As promised, here is my ringer application. The makefile does everything - including installing in /usr/local/bin. Just type 'make install' as root. usage: ring (equiv. ring 1) ring 1 (brrr, brrr ring) ring 2 (derdler, derdler ring) Have fun, Nick.
