What is the processor on your PC-486, pls ? And which version of
floppyfw you use successfully on that PC-486 ? And how much of RAM ?

Here is the last info from the offical site:
http://www.zelow.ne/floppyfw/download.html

  ----------------------------

Current stable with the 2.4 kernel:
  2.0.*

2.0.4, Kernel 2.4.20, set up for 386 machines with FPU (This is a
change, it's now needed with an FPU and most probably minimum 12M
RAM!). Iptables/netfilter with iproute2 istead of ipchains.
  Glibc-2.1.3

  ----------------------------

Try it and you will see if this version of floppyfw could boot correctly.

Truong
