That indeed was it.  My apologies for not thinking to try it - I thought
it was optional.  I put that in and, after correcting a typo in my
modules.conf (I cut and pasted the tip line for autoloading it from the
web page and did not realize I was using pwcx-gcc32 instead of
pwcx-i386) all worked fine.  The last glitch was realizing that the
NetMeeting station I was trying to talk to did not like the large
GnomeMeeting setting.  Once I set it to small, we had a real live video
session going.  Thanks - John
