Rather, it is probably more like Rendezvous (multicast DNS stuff). Not
that that makes much sense for a conferencing app, since you would need
to be within some reasonable distance to be able to create a rendezvous
network between the two machines. So, You can just talk to that person
face to face. You can't really use p2p for a proxy/ils server. It
implies that you already know what you are connecting to and where it
is, thus making the ils part useless mostly. Having a proxy built in
to the client makes no sense either, since the point of a proxy is that
you need to go through it to access the outside. If your client is doing
the proxy, it's still connecting to the same services from the same
machine, so that makes no sense really.
