Maybe splitting out the "hidden" and "gui" parts would be nice. Such
that there is a per-user daemon in the background that notifies you of
incoming calls, and then when you answer, the full UI comes up, and we
can just get rid of "Quit" in the menu, and grab C-q and put "Close" in
the menu, so we have both C-q and C-w work for closing the window. It
would be nice to fix gnomemeeting to not show the icon in the
notification area all the time also. :)

Splash screens are poor UI. That is all. :)
