Re: Plone - wgo

in my opinion i think we are more flexible with the current setup. i'm a
heavy user of buildout based environments but i've never used the
unified installer. so maybe i'm wrong here because of lack of experience
with the unified installer.

i suggest to build a custom python2.4 environment with bda's python
buildout:
https://svn.plone.org/svn/collective/buildout/bda-naked-python/
please have a look into the README file.

with this python installation we can proceed to install the
wgo-buildout. the mentioned problems with installsite.py do not affect
the editors-gnome site, because we have already installed the site.

next week (from 21st-24th) i could help out some sysadmins to install
the wgo-buildout on their servers since i'm attending a sprint in
austria and may be awake at unusal times (overcoming time zone
differences).

please let me know,
cheers,
hannes
