This is where I disagree. Ripping *isn't* just the same as copying a
file. It involves things like selecting target format, encoding quality,
file naming, tagging etc. Now, this can be sort of hacked in by doing
things like virtual directories with various formats, automatic cddb
lookups and whatnot, but this all complicates the whole approach such
that its not really all that easy and logical anymore. It really exposes
the s-j settings and ui as a directory structure, which is not really
ideal.

Anyway, this is my opinion. The hard rule here is: No gstreamer deps in
gnome-vfs.
