F-Spot sidebar improvements: Week 7 Report

Hi all!

 [ For information about my GSoC project, fast-forward to the bottom ]

This weekly report has been brought to you from the roof of the Golden
Horn Sultanahmet overlooking the Bosporus. I had the joy of attending my
first GUADEC last week and what an experience it was!

Met so many inspiring people and had so much great talks. This was
really mindblowing. In such an atmosphere, doing hacking is a bit hard,
but the amount of inspiration and ideas gathered more than compensate
that.

I've been spending a few days of tourism in Istanbul and will return
tomorrow. Slowly getting up to speed afterwards.

About the project:

I will be working on F-Spot and concentrate on the sidebar, editing
tools and other usability work.
