That is an extension which depends on Canonical's modified stack to extract "normal" menubars from unmodified applications. It is not supported upstream, and never will be.
(Not least because most of us don't consider squashing a menubar into a single menu an improvement - there is a good reason why Unity's global menu does not work that way :-)
