Hi,
I'll answer myself for the .desktop file path question. Looking at
this again, I've found the gmenu_tree_entry_get_desktop_file_path
function so I've made it accessible from JavaScript by creating a
shell_app_info_get_executable function which wraps around it (this
gmenu_ stuff could really use some documentation; googling
"gmenu_tree_entry_get" doesn't give a single hit).
About the supported mimetypes, I still don't know how to get them, so
tips are welcome (but now that I have path to the .desktop file I can
live without it).
Now off to do some visual cleanup of this :).
Cheers,
