Have you updated any packages in the last few days? What distro is this?

Slackware 11.0 with Dropline Gnome. Other users does not have this
bug. I did not update anything. This problem appeared with g-p-m
2.18.2. I compiled 2.19.2 yesterday, but it did not help.

Can you pls attach the output of gconftool-2
-R /apps/gnome-power-manager

I've not heard of this before - could you please file a bug in gnome
bugzilla and we can debug this there. Thanks.

Done:
