Hi, Im having a little problem and may somebody here help me to fix it
or giveme some clue.
I was testing some new software for my palm, but the last one that i try
hangs my gpilotd whe installing some lbPG-tutorial file (This is the
name I can see in my pilot)
Regarding the application problem I think ok, I will never use this in
anywhere, just delete it.
The problem is: I cant find where gpilot put the files to be instaled in
the device.
I think well I have my pilot with fullcharge and a backup in my work
computer, no problem with erase all and reinstall it then i do
mv ~/MyPilot/ ~/Backup/MyPilot
mkdir ~/MyPilot/
start gpilotd-control-applet
erase the user
apt-get remove --purge gnome-pilot gnome-pilot-conduits (with --purge
erase configuration files not only remove programs)
apt-get install gnome-pilot gnome-pilot-conduits
redetect the user
and...
The file still there triing to be instaled on my device and hanging all
things.
My questions are:
Where are this files?
Why they dont have a simple ~/MyPilot/install directory and the conduit
just install every file that is there in that directory, thats much more
simple way than gpilot-install-file or drag and drop to the
gpilot-applet icon which hangs with every file that I try to install in
that way I I kill it, gnome ask to relaunch it and works fine again.
(Well not, now, that was the situation until this file hangs everithing)
What must I delete if want a clear reinstalation of gnome-pilot?
Thanks a lot
