apt-get --reinstall install gnome-pilot gnome-pilot-conduits;
gpilotd-control-applet --cap-id=1
Also, please do NOT hit Reply and start a completely new thread like
you've done here. If you wish to post a new message, select the "New
Message" option in your mail client (Mozilla in your case), and post a new
message. Hitting "Reply" and posting a completely unrelated message screws
up the ability to maintain "conversations" via threading in threaded
readers.
