Now about gnome-pilot here is what I did after I read your mail.

I did allready had the last packages of gnome-pilot
gnome-pilot-conduits;

But I still reinstalled them, it wouldn't hurt anybody ;-)

apt-get upgrade;
apt-get --reinstall install gnome-pilot gnome-pilot-conduits;
gpilotd-control-applet --cap-id=1

Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library

** ERROR **: Error initializing gpilotd capplet
aborting...
Aborted

After this I tried once again and again and received at the end this

Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library

I still tried to enable MemoFile-sync and received the gnome-applet
crash message as described before

I tried to set my LANG=german but still got this messages and the
MemoFile crash

What should I do?
