I think I've decided on delving into sound-juicer and figuring out how
that works and then document what I learn from it.  And David, since the
programs mentioned below are similar to what I got from what you were
saying and they both use python, it'd probably be better just to add any
desired functionality to those.  Just me 2 cents.
