Yes. it's the protocol to input non ascii chars.
When gtk+ is build with OpenWindows libraries, it causes SEGV.
# So, on Intel platform, building gtk+ with XFree libs also
# solves the problem.

I don't know which is wrong.

To tell the truth, there is an another solution,
just run a xim application before running gtk+ applications.
Then, you can enter non ascii in the widgets.
But you have to prepare xim application such as skkinput or kinput2.
