I've been tempted several times to do this myself for my own sanity,
because I've been caught twice now by "dead modules" or obsoleted modules.
For example, gdm is now gdm2.  gnomeicu was once named something else, and
that is still in CVS.  Obviously, it needs a good 'limpia' (cleaning).
