I'm certainly not an gtcd expert, but I did look at the source
recently.

This is a gnome problem, I believe. These are the gnome pixmaps
GNOME_STOCK_PIXMAP_PREFERENCES and
GNOME_STOCK_PIXMAP_PROPERTIES. They really should be
differentiated more. Besides that though, I agree that there should
be a different icon for the track editor, I don't think of a "track editor"
really being a "property."

When running gtcd on my machine (redhat 5.2 w/ 2.2.1 kernel, fairly
new XF86_SVGA) I only get about .1% cpu being used.
