gtcd, a few things

I have noticed a couple of things about gtcd:

First, the "open track editor" and "edit preferences" buttons look very
similar... I actually have to wait until the tooltips pop up to see
which is which. That, by the way, points out that it's nice to have
tooltips ;)

While running gtcd, X eats cpu like crazy. Well, not like crazy but
more than usual.
