Re: Workspace specific backgrounds

Back to the point, please.  Is it conceivable that Gnome could set
different backgrounds on different workspaces, as several window
managers do? If so, then Sawmill users need not fight to create a way to
do it. Sawmill's design has the beautiful posture of "leave unto Gnome
what is Gnome's", including background selection, management of
tasklists, pagers, and so forth.
