the right click menu is managed by the panel and it doesn't (yet) support
submenus ....

well not a config file per se ...
the panel stores all applet related stuff in a separate section for each
applet in it's own config file ... the applet itself can add to that ...
(only keys, no more levels of subsections)
each applet-widget will recieve it's own session save signal so you can
have different config for each one
