I added a date that is supposed to indicate when the bug was last
investigated. I also tried to weed out the entries that weren't very clear
or didn't make sense that I had just copied from other people :)

fvwm2 2.0.46 seems to barf on gtk_window_set_policy(). Investigate.

gnome-entry adds entries to history twice if "activate" signal causes

Right clicking on toolbars & menu bars to set position should work as it
used to (even though users can drag it around, we need to give them the

** Panel
When dragging items between panels, pointer sometimes loses its "grab". [1998-12-28]
How to reproduce:
	Start up default panel.
	Add new panel -> edge panel
	Use the middle mouse button to drag the clock applet to the new
	panel. As soon as it reparents, move your mouse pointer off the
	new panel.
	(the bug also happens for launchers but is easier to trigger
	 with applets).

Swallowed apps don't work very stably.
The undocking & docking is flaky. [1998-12-28]

Drawers can go off the screen of you add enough of them in the right
place. [1998-12-28]

Autohide should be feasible for corner panels as well as edge panels. [1998-12-28]

** mini-commander applet
After changing properties or running a command (e.g. xterm), does not
accept new commands. [1998-12-28]

** esoundmanager_applet
No show, no go. [1998-12-28]

** menu "appletette"
Should show the "Menu icon" properties tab (from "Global panel
properties") as part of right-click properties. [1998-12-28]

If treated as a "normal menu", starts doing some directory tree display.

** gnome-session
Doesn't seem to save restart commands for some of the properties programs
started by the default session. [1998-12-28]

There is a missing NULL initialization somewhere that is causing spurious
ShutdownCommand's to be run (e.g. the 'kill' command set by

** gnome-terminal
save session doesn't work

	Changing the background image to /gnome/share/pixmaps/desktop.xpm
	causes the a "bad pixmap" error when run with --sync. Back trace

Its weird.. some patterns trigger it but I dont know which/why

[Reproduced. Basically what happens is that it draws a cursor in the
middle of some of the tabs. It also happens about 50% of the time when
'h tab tab h' is typed. No idea what the problem is.]

2. Preferences, partially obscure the terminal window, select transparent
hit apply. Nothing occurs. Move the obscuring window away - that part is
refreshed transparent.

implemented in aisleriot)

Once you log out of a session, it keeps starting up a blank X server.
