 That is not a gnome-terminal problem. Something  is wrong with
 gnome_font_selector  ---- gfontsel dies as soon as I click on one of
 the Fonts:  charter, clean, courier (adobe), etc.. The message is:

Gdk-CRITICAL **: file gdkim.c: line 1173 (gdk_ic_get_attr): assertion
 `ic != NULL' failed.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)


If I'll find time in the next two days I'd look in to that problem.
