On my last install for libgit2-glib:

ssh (user)@master.gnome.org ftpadmin install libgit2-glib-0.27.8.tar.xz

I get this response about notifications:

Doing notifications:
 - Informing ftp-release-list, done
 - Triggering GNOME library update, done
 - Adding new version to GNOME BugzillaFAILED (Either the product 'libgit2-glib' does not exist or you don't have access to it.)
 - Triggering ftp.gnome.org update, poincare.acc.umu.se, done

I think is related with libgit2-glib was a module inside gitg on Bugzilla and now is a project alone in gitlab
