Well, for the short term, I was mostly suggesting that this conversation could be better held on private mailing lists (gnome-sysadmin / board-list) rather than here on gnome-infrastructure. I don't think it's possible to hold this conversation in public and be sufficiently clear. At some point it might make sense to invite Ross to one of the GNOME Board conference calls, but that seems premature at this point; as you say, there are lots of confused intertwined strands of conversation. - Owen
