Not really, as our .pot files will not get that string breakage, the old
translation will remain.

True, and that's what I tried to explain, not sure if it was not clear
enough.

As Vicent says, I don't think we are not going to stay with 2.10.1...

We had three minor releases until now and I didn't see anything that
makes me think it's going to change now, but I could be wrong, of
course.
