Oh, I didn't know that. Thankyou for the info. I'll try FinkCommander

Thanks for your experienced advice, dan. :)

I do have unstable enabled for fink, but gnome-doc-utils isn't in the  
list. Neither is libxml2-py23.

What about the DarwinPorts module I found? At the bottom of this list:

Any use in this situation?
