It would require discussion and agreement on this list. And I think - in
the case we don't come to an agreement - the better? judgement of the
release team and the i18n representative there.

As said, discussion. My experience has been that _very_ few people even
voice their concern here if they have any.

It's tricky, some people have no problems with this, while others don't
like that their translations are changed by "outsiders".

Maybe we should just come up with guidelines for these kinds of things
that we could submit to the release-team/foundation/whatever and let
everyone abide by those?
