In Arch, GNOME Screensaver is built with the following patch which
takes care of this.

Thanks!

 Ok, another note:
The background changer is part of gnome-control-center.
Gnome control center requires that gdm is installed for the
User
-account panel.
I wants this schema in particular /usr/share/glib
-2.0/schemas/org.gnome.login-screen.gschema.xml
So I still need gdm/gnome-shell installed.
That schema is used only for "enable-fingerprint-authentication"
setting. I could write patch to check if that schema exists, but
main
question is if they are going to accept it.

But is this real problem? Does installed gdm cause any problems?

Hi again, sorry for asking so many questions. What locker do you
use?
Gnome-screensaver spawns gdm on switching users even when lightdm
is
running.

Ok, I managed to disable user switching in gnome-screensaver and gnome
-panel. They are not needed since this machine has just one user.
Thanks Charles Bos and Alberts Muktupāvels.
