Αυτή είναι η ανακοίνωση για την κυκλοφορία του GNOME 2.32.
Στις επόμενες εβδομάδες θα έχουμε το GNOME 2.32.1 που θα έχει διορθώσεις
στον κώδικα, και θα μπορέσουμε να μεταφράσουμε/διορθώσουμε περισσότερα
στις μεταφράσεις. Ανάλογα με τις προθεσμίες κάθε διανομής, θα πάρουν το 2.32,
το 2.32.1 ή ακόμα νεότερη έκδοση. Πιστεύω ότι το Ubuntu 10.10 θα πάρει
το GNOME 2.32.

Εδώ είναι καλό να μπει μεταφραστική μνήμη, μιας και έγινε η μετάφραση

Δεν είναι εξαιρετικά αναγκαίο να μεταφράσουμε τα release notes,
ωστόσο αν κάποιος πιστεύει ότι θα βοηθήσει, μπορεί να το ξεκινήσει.

Κατά τα στατιστικά,

έχουμε να φτιάξουμε εκείνες τις μικρές μεταφράσεις με τα 1-2 μηνύματα
ώστε για το UI να πάμε στο 100%. Είναι περισσότερο ανάγκη να κάνουμε τα commit.

Οπότε, κοιτώντας τα στατιστικά της τεκμηρίωσης θα μπούμε στην τέταρτη θέση
σε σχέση με τις άλλες γλώσσες. Για τα Γαλλικά έγινε τρομερή δουλειά πρόσφατα
και από το ~78 στο ~98, και είναι τώρα πρώτοι.
Δεύτερη γλώσσα τα Ισπανικά με 90% και τρίτη γλώσσα τα Γερμανικά με 88%.
Και τα ελληνικά είναι στο 88%, ωστόσο με μερικά μηνύματα λιγότερα.
Ανεβήκαμε στο 88% πριν λίγες μέρες λόγω μεγάλης μετάφρασης που έκανε
ο Γιάννης Κατσαμπίρης.

Οι βελτιώσεις είναι σημαντικές, ωστόσο θα ήθελα να αναφέρω το empathy,
που είναι πρόγραμμα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης, που έχει ενημερωθεί.

Πιστεύω ότι στις επόμενες εβδομάδες θα καταφέρω να ετοιμάσω στατιστικά
από το έργο του καθένα.

             Celebrating the release of GNOME 2.32!
             ======================================

Today, the GNOME Project celebrates the release of GNOME 2.32, the
latest version of the popular, multi-platform free desktop environment
and of its developer platform. Released on schedule, to the day, GNOME
2.32 builds on top of a long series of successful six months releases to
offer the best experience to users and developers.

For more than 10 years now, the project has been seeing a tremendous
amount of work. And as usual, it's hard to come back to a previous
version of GNOME once you've tried this latest release, which is
probably the best compliment the project can receive.

GNOME 2.32 is the last planned major release in the GNOME 2.x series,
with only maintenance releases for GNOME 2.x planned going forward.
GNOME 2.32 features a limited set of new features in some applications,
as the community continues to focus on the upcoming GNOME 3.0 release
scheduled for April, 2011.

This six months effort wouldn't have been possible without the whole
GNOME community, made of contributors from all around the world:
hackers, documentors, usability and accessibility specialists,
translators, maintainers, sysadmins, companies, artists, users and
testers. GNOME would not exist without all those people. Thanks very
much to every one of them!
