thought you were all gone since Reinhard and other people unsubscribed

yes, for some DBMS it is a pain to get this information, but well, it's
still possible, and the work must be done only once.

yes, of course you can, you can just issue any SQL command you like. And
yes, please, send me the SQL you use to get the information, and I'll
add it to gnome-db.
Right now, for the Postgres provider, you can get information about
tables, views, fields, sequences, procedures, aggregates, types...
