moved. The doc/ directory in mergeant is a mess, so just remove all
that, and put the libmergeant doc/ dir there, probably in a 'devel'
subdirectory, since we'll add there user docs for mergeant also.

yes, that's a good plan, which helps you in not leaving lots of
unfinished things lying around.
