Mm.  Roedd hi'n ddiddorol yn y Steddfod - wrth siarad a+ gwahanol bobl,
roedd hi'n amlwg o'u adwaith pwy oedd am fynd i'r gwaith bore dydd Llun
a gofyn am gael OpenOffice Cymraeg ar eu desktops.  Yn anffodus dwi ddim
yn gwybod pwy yw pwy yng Nghymru.  E.e. wrth dosbarthu taflennu pnawn
dydd Gwener, mi gwrddes i a+ dyn ddywedodd fod e'n rhedeg busnes, a oedd
yn ymddiddori yn y syniad o feddalwedd Cymraeg.  Dim ond hwy nes i
sylweddoli mai Dafydd Iwan oedd o!  Naeth yr un peth ddigwydd sawl
gwaith efo gwleidyddion yn ystod yr wythnos a dwi'n sicr nes i siarad ag
enwogion doeddwn i ddim yn nabod o gwbl.  Ond y peth da am beidio nabod
neb ydy dy fod ti'n trio cyfathrebu'n dda a+ phawb, a nid i bobl pwysig yn
unig.

Mm, it was interesting in the Eisteddfod - speaking to different people
it was obvious from their reaction who wanted to go into work on Monday
morning and ask about getting OpenOffice Cymraeg on their desktops.
Unfortunately, I don't know who's who in Wales.  For example, while
distributing leaflets on Wednesday afternoon, I met a man who said he
ran a business, who was interested in the idea of Welsh software.  Only
later did I realise that it was Dafydd Iwan!  The same thing happened
several times with politicians during the week and I'm sure I spoke to
famous people who I didn't recognise at all.  But the good thing about
not knowing anyone is that you try and communicate well with everyone,
and not just important people.

I'd imaging that staff in Welsh-language departments of big companies
have a significant say in how they work and what operating system / word
processor they use.  But who knows ...
