Yes, but I think there is some agreement that finding a reasonable
default modifier is a worthwhile goal.

If anybody wants to try using CapsLock to see if they are more
comfortable with it,
then you can adjust the orca.settings.orcaModifierKeys line in
~/.orca/user-settings.py
to:
orca.settings.orcaModifierKeys = ['Caps_Lock']
