[Gimp-user] Screenshot dialog

Hi everyone, 

I am using GIMP 2.8.4 on Windows 8.

When I open the screeshot-tool of GIMP the appearing dialog has no option
for a free selection.

Just two options (whole screen, one window)

But in the documentation as well as in my GIMP-Version on my Mac both got
the third option for free selection.

Can anyone tell me, why is that difference?
And which dialog appears at your windows-version?
