The last mail I see from you was on 8/29 and it doesn't mention that link.   I'm sure there are a lot of users here who are frustrated by the slowness of ubuntu or perhaps  someone else along the line.

If you're telling us we can have gedit 3 without waiting for gnome 3 we would really like a dissertation on that. What does the trailsave plugin do?
