Yeah, it's actually macros.
I would include that file inside as well. If you take a look at the 
~gdesklets-desklet-team/gdesklets/0.36 
<https://code.launchpad.net/%7Egdesklets-desklet-team/gdesklets/0.36> 
branch, which contains the content of 0.36 release tarball, it is there too.
