I wouldn't include too many desklets with the core package. Just a few tiny
ones.
I'd rather include the new desklets shell Lauri has been working on. People
could easily download any desklets they like. AFAIK yahoo is doing it that
way.

I haven't tried desklets which are listed on the unofficial archive. It'd be
interesting how many are working on linux (and *BSD). The page lists 252
desklets at the moment. That's huge!
We should keep those which are working on www.gdesklets.org. That way, it
wouldn't confuse people who want to try the out but in the end fail to do
so.
